Leaving Yahoo!

June 9, 2008 Leaving Yahoo!

This will be my last week at Yahoo!. I’m taking up a position at Engine Yard to help scale a company that’s making Ruby (on Rails) scale.

This also means it’s my last week in Bangalore. I’ll be leaving Saturday morning to head back to San Francisco. Please ping me if you want to meet up before then. I’ve made so many great friends during my stay in India so I’m leaving with a heavy heart. Please keep in touch and let me know if you ever make it out to the bay area.

I’m looking forward to getting back home with friends, family and colleagues. See you all when I get back!

1. whoosh (you running towards our cubes) and your “Standup Time” calls (11:00 dot )
2. Awesome discussions about CI.
3. Learnt a lot about process, and how a software is developed from you
4. Loved the Idea of Kanban and had fun developing it! (We should opensource it ;) )
5. Learnt how to finish standup meeting fast!
